Roof Cleaning Melbourne | Soft Wash Roof Cleaning

Why Choose Softwash Cleaning for Roof Cleaning in Melbourne?

These are the reasons why Melbourne residents choose us for roof cleaning:

Safety First

Our team works at height using proper fall protection and access equipment. Every job is completed by a trained crew under the supervision of a licensed roof plumber, keeping people and property safe.

Licenced and Insured

Softwash Cleaning is fully insured and operates with a licensed roof plumber on every project. This allows us to legally assess roof conditions and provide related services alongside compliant cleaning.

Long-Term Results

Our soft wash system removes spores at the source to prevent rapid regrowth. This approach keeps colourbond and tiled roofs clean for longer compared to short-term, high-pressure washdowns.

No Surface Damage

We use low-pressure equipment and specialised chemicals to lift grime without blasting paint, glaze, or mortar. This eliminates common risks like tile breakage or surface pitting seen with harsh water pressure.

Roof Tile Cleaning That Covers More Than Just Dirt

Softwash Cleaning delivers more than a surface clean. Each job includes a roof condition check by a licenced roof plumber who understands the structure and function of your roofing system. We identify cracked tiles, rust spots, clogged drainage points, and signs of surface fatigue.

Clients receive an option to request a detailed conditional report. These are especially valuable after major storms or prolonged wet weather, helping property owners understand what repairs or preventative work might be needed. Our reports are written clearly and cover everything from tile displacement to flashing deterioration.

Beyond cleaning, we support roof maintenance through associated services like minor repairs, repointing, and repainting. Our crew works under proper compliance to keep everything above the ceiling watertight and up to standard. Get your roof professionally cleaned and assessed in one visit with Softwash Cleaning!

Our Soft Wash Roof Cleaning Process

Here are the steps to our soft wash roof cleaning process:

Step 1: Roof Inspection and Safety Setup

A licenced roof plumber inspects the roof for damage, wear, and safety risks. Our crew installs height safety systems and confirms roof access points before starting any cleaning or chemical treatment.

Step 2: Pre-Treatment Application

We apply biodegradable cleaning agents to break down grime, lichen, mould, and algae. This solution loosens stubborn growth while protecting surrounding surfaces, making the final clean more effective and less abrasive.

Step 3: Low-Pressure Soft Wash

We rinse the entire surface using controlled low-pressure equipment designed for roofs. This method clears away dirt and biological material without damaging tiles, colourbond coatings, pointing, or sealants.

Step 4: Post-Clean Condition Check

After washing, our team performs a final roof check. We review flashing, drainage, and surface condition, and where requested, prepare a written conditional report outlining any issues that need further attention.
